On the Button is designed to sit alongside your existing safeguarding policies and procedures rather than replace them.

It gives settings a structured way to record and manage concerns relating to children, families, educators, leaders and individual sites, including safeguarding, wellbeing, complaints and whistleblowing. Whistleblowing concerns can also be raised anonymously where needed.

Information is shared according to each person’s role and level of responsibility, allowing the appropriate senior people to review concerns, record actions and outcomes and maintain clear accountability.
