On the Button: Finalist for Technology Product of the Year at the NMT Nursery Awards 2025

The NMT Nursery Awards are one of the most respected celebrations in the early years sector. They exist to recognise the very best of what this brilliant industry has to offer, from outstanding nurseries and incredible individuals through to the products and services that help settings thrive. To be named a finalist is a real honour, and we are very proud.

Technology Product of the Year is a category that means a great deal to us, because it sits right at the heart of what On the Button is. We are a technology product, yes. But we have always believed that the best technology in early years is technology that feels human. Technology that understands the sector it serves, that is built around the real pressures practitioners face, and that makes a genuinely difficult part of the job a little clearer and a little more manageable.

Safeguarding, wellbeing, concerns, communication and records: these are not abstract tasks. They are real responsibilities carried by real people, often under significant pressure. Our goal has always been to build something that helps those people feel more confident, more supported and better equipped. Being recognised as a finalist in this category tells us that goal is being achieved.

We also want to take a moment to celebrate something else wonderful from this year's NMT Awards. An early adopter of On the Button, Eagley School House Nurseries, won the Parent Engagement award. Seeing a setting we know and care about celebrated on such a prestigious stage is genuinely joyful. Congratulations to the whole team at Eagley School House Nurseries; you thoroughly deserve it.
