The list is HERE
We are absolutely delighted to share that for the second year running On the Button has been shortlisted as a finalist for Technology Product of the Year at the National NMT Nursery Awards for 2026.
The NMT Nursery Awards celebrate the very best of the early years sector, recognising the people, settings, products and services that are making a real difference to children, families and practitioners. To be included among this year's finalists is something we are incredibly proud of.
A second year as finalists
When we were shortlisted for Technology Product of the Year in 2025, we were thrilled to have our work recognised alongside some of the brilliant people and organisations working across early years.
Since then, On the Button has continued to grow, develop and listen.
We don't want to create technology simply for technology's sake. We created something that genuinely helps early years professionals do an incredibly important job.
Safeguarding, wellbeing, concerns, communication, recording and compliance all come with significant responsibility. Behind every record is a child, a family and a practitioner trying to do the right thing.
On the Button has been built to make those responsibilities clearer, more manageable and easier to keep on top of, while keeping the human side of safeguarding firmly at the centre.
Recognition that means something
Being shortlisted again tells us that what we are building continues to resonate with the sector.
Over the past year, we've seen On the Button continue to develop alongside the nurseries and preschools using it. Their feedback, ideas and experiences have helped shape what we do next, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who takes the time to share them with us.
For us, being a finalist isn't just about an award. It's about knowing that the work we're doing to support safeguarding, wellbeing and better outcomes for children is being noticed.
Thank you
A huge thank you to the NMT Nursery Awards for recognising On the Button for a second consecutive year.
And, perhaps most importantly, thank you to the early years professionals who use On the Button, talk to us, challenge us, make suggestions and help us make it better.
We are proud of how far On the Button has come and even prouder that we are still learning, developing and moving forward.
Whatever happens on the night, being a finalist again is something we will celebrate.
Here's to another year of supporting the people who work tirelessly to keep children safe, happy and thriving.
