Can settings customise features in On the Button like incident reporting or whistleblowing options?

On the Button provides a structured way to record safeguarding concerns, wellbeing concerns, complaints and whistleblowing. The core recording fields are not customisable because they have been designed around good safeguarding practice and the information that needs to be captured consistently.

Whistleblowing can be raised anonymously as part of the system. Once the concern has been written, a category can be selected to show its main subject, helping leaders understand and review the types of concerns being raised.

Who can see the whistleblowing concern is determined separately by the level of the person involved and the appropriate reporting route within the organisation.

On the Button is designed to work alongside each setting or organisation’s own policies and procedures. We also welcome suggestions from customers where they identify something that could make the system work even better in practice.
